Masoud Pezeshkian to be Sworn in as Iran’s President on July 30

10 Jul. 24: The swearing-in ceremony for Iran’s President-elect Masoud Pezeshkian is scheduled for July 30, announced Mojtaba Yousefi, a member of the Iranian Parliament’s presiding board, on Wednesday.

The event will see attendance from senior Iranian officials and foreign dignitaries from various countries. The ceremony will take place following the formal approval of the president by the Supreme Leader.

Pezeshkian, a 69-year-old heart surgeon, was elected as Iran’s ninth president after securing 16,384,403 votes in the July 5 runoff election, defeating his rival Jalili, who garnered 13,538,179 votes.
