Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Education Institute Opens Library

Churu: A library dedicated to preparing students for government service examinations was inaugurated at the community building in Usmanabad Colony here. Organised under the auspices of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Education Institute, the ceremony was presided over by Churu City Imam Peer Syed Mohammad Anwar Nadeemul Qadri.

The programme commenced with Quran recitation by City Qazi Maulana Ahmad.

Speaking as chief guest, Dr. Khanu Khan Budhwali, Chairman of Wakf Board, highlighted the transformative power of education, emphasising its role in raising social awareness. He particularly underscored the importance of girls’ education in fostering family unity.

Churu City Imam called for the collaborative development of urban and rural areas, advocating for greater resource allocation to rural populations for their advancement. Minority Welfare Officer Anis Khan detailed various schemes under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Kalyan Yojana (PMJKY).

The event also showcased the development of a four-storey community building in Usmanabad Colony, which houses a library, guest house, and student accommodation. This initiative has been made possible through combined efforts of social contributions and government support. Shamsher Bhalu Khan announced plans to launch coaching programmes for RAS and RJS exams at the facility soon.

Azam Ali Khan Pithisar, president of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Education Institute, shared that the library is equipped with water, electricity, and Wi-Fi facilities. He commended the community donors for their generous contributions, with each donor honoured with garlands during the ceremony. The library was formally inaugurated by cutting a ribbon, followed by a prayer led by the imam.

Prominent attendees included former sarpanch Jangsher Khan Jainan Pithisar, sarpanch Majid Khan Ranasar, councillors Shahrukh Khan, Aziz Khan, and Aslam Khan Moyal, as well as other community leaders and villagers from Sehjusar, Pithisar, Jharia, Ranasar, and Ashalu. The Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Institution and the Yuva Kamkhani Welfare Society extended their gratitude to all contributors and participants.

Several distinguished speakers addressed the audience, including Dr. F.H. Gouri, Hidayat Khan Dilawarkhani, retired Additional SP Ayub Khan, Niyaz Khan, Munshi Khan Chandkhani, and Asgar Khan Joyia.

The programme was jointly conducted by the institution’s secretary, Mohammad Ali Pathan, and Shamsher Khan.
