Mumbai, June 4, 2024: The results of the Lok Sabha elections 2024 are out, and the INDIA alliance has achieved an extraordinary victory, particularly in the state of Maharashtra. Abdul Mujeeb of Jalana and Shakir Sheikh of Mumbai, the Coordinators of Maharashtra Democratic Forum, in a statement said:
On this occasion, we express our sincere gratitude to the leaders of organisations and groups, esteemed scholars, Imams of mosques, community leaders, coordinators, the Maharashtra Democratic Forum (MDF) and women as well as the general public.
The victory in the Lok Sabha elections belongs to our social workers, Imams, Islamic scholars, and all the religious and national organizations, along with the organizations of our compatriots. They responded to our movement, which is why an extraordinary transformation and awakening was witnessed throughout Maharashtra. All the voters not only cast their valuable votes but also mobilized the voters in their vicinity. Alhamdulillah, a history-making voting took place.
As you are aware, the MDF is a federation of 125 organizations. Alhamdulillah, the MDF had started its planned activities ten months ago, and the results are now before us.
We hope that in the future, too, we will receive cooperation in public interest campaigns and movements.
