Memorandum Submitted in Protest against Defamatory Remarks on Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

Chhabra: The Muslims of Chhabra in Baran district, Rajasthan, submitted a memorandum to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), calling for stringent legal action against Yati Narsinghanand for his blasphemous remarks about Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

In the memorandum, the community emphasized that India is a nation of communal harmony, where people of all faiths have coexisted peacefully for centuries. It stated that every individual in the country has the fundamental right to practice their religion, yet certain individuals are attempting to disturb this harmony through provocative statements. These individuals, it warned, seek to divide the nation along religious and caste lines.

A recent example was Yati Narsinghanand’s inflammatory remarks against Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, the greatest reformer and messenger of peace and humanity for the entire world. His comments have deeply hurt the sentiments of Muslims and threaten the communal fabric of the nation.

The Muslims described Narsinghanand as someone seeking false fame by making baseless statements against revered social reformers. His recent blasphemous remarks about Prophet Muhammad ﷺ have outraged Muslims worldwide, and no Muslim can tolerate such false and offensive statements.

The memorandum demanded that legal action be taken against Narsinghanand under stringent laws, such as UAPA and PASA, to ensure that no one can make unfounded statements against any religious figure in the future.

Those who submitted the memorandum included Afzal Khan, Zahoor Ahmed Hashmi, Ragib Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Jamil Khan, Shahbaz Khan, Adil Mama, Samad, Asif, Farooq, and many others.
