Men and Women Deserve Equal Respect and Honour: Ilyas Khan Falahi

Buldana, Maharashtra, Nov. 28: Both men and women are equal shareholders in the bounties of Allah Almighty, they equally deserve respect and honour; and accountability will also be applied equally to both. As for women, Allah Almighty has kept a great treasure of abilities within them, said Maulana Ilyas Khan Falahi, Ameer Halqua Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) Maharashtra. He was addressing a one-day district conference titled ‘In whose embrace the life of the community grows’ organized by Women’s Wing of JIH Buldana at Nandura Middle School Weekly Market, here Sunday.

In the keynote address, Ameer Halqua JIH Maharashtra said women have to create awareness and a strong sense of Islamic etiquette in their homes and the society at large. Challenges of the world are to be faced with courage and wisdom; future generations have to be protected. Special care should be taken to ensure proper growth of children’s mental, physical and spiritual abilities.

Maulana Ilyas Falahi further said, “In fact, our homes are the forts of Islam. We have to make our homes Islamic; only then you can be good mothers, good wives, good daughters and good sisters.”

On this occasion, Ameer Halqua also released Children Islamic Organisation’s (CIO) monthly magazine Mahnama Noor.

Mrs. Mubashshira Firdous, Member of JIH Council of Representatives, National Assistant Secretary CIO and Editor Hadiya e-Magazine provided guidance under two topics – ‘Breaking family and disintegrating society’ and ‘Daughters of Islam on the Target of Unjust’.

Earlier, the program commenced with the Quranic recitation by District Organiser Buldana North Ms. Ishrat. Suhail Furqan, Organiser JIH District Buldana North delivered the inaugural remarks.

Ms. Sajida Parveen, Secretary Women’s Wing of JIH Maharashtra, spoke on two topics – “Ibadaat and Care for the Hereafter” and “Women’s Wing – Ray of Hope”.

Ms. Nilufar Iqbal, Media Secretary of JIH Maharashtra expressed her views on “Quran is the Way of Salvation” and “Gallant Women of the Prophet’s Age”.

Farhat Jahan of Nandura and Ghazala Parveen of Pimpalgaon Raja convened the conference sessions very nicely. About 1200 women participated in the conference.
