The International Peace Day Committee has honored Mirza Tauseef Baig with Global Harmony Award 2024 for promoting peace and unity among communities. This award was presented to celebrate the International Peace Day on Saturday.
Mirza told Radiance, “I am honored to receive the Global Harmony Award 2024 for my efforts in promoting peace and unity among communities. This recognition motivates me to continue advocating for social harmony and collaboration. I thank the International Peace Day Committee for this incredible honor. Together, let’s inspire positive change and work towards a brighter, more peaceful future.”
Mirza is presently working as Program Manager with Bal Raksha Bharat, India’s leading child right organization. Bal Raksha Bharat (globally known as Save the Children) works relentlessly to help educate and empower the marginalised children. It works across 16 states with children, teachers, caregivers, parents, communities, and government representatives to help improve children’s learning. The NGO also works towards helping the children who dropped out of school for some reason continue their schooling.
In 2022, it reached over 3.30 lakh children through education programmes.
