MTB, AIITA, FMEII jointly organize online program on Assessment in Teaching Learning Process

New Delhi, Feb. 22: The Markazi Taleemi Board (MTB), All India Ideal Teachers Association (AIITA) and Federation of Muslim Educational Institutions (India)-FMEII jointly organized an online program on Assessment in Teaching Learning Process here Wednesday.

Mohammad Sharique, former principal of a school in Delhi and presently Deputy Education Director of South Delhi, delved into the topic Assessment in Teaching Learning Process.

He said that the purpose of imparting education is to develop students educationally, morally and make them perfect in real-life situations.

He stressed that the purpose of all reforms in education is to give students life-related learning, and life skill promotion, and make them competent. Students should know the utility application of the subject and develop high-order thinking. He further said that the commissions also stressed on primary-stage skill development among students. Recommendations on examination reforms have not been implemented yet. So NEP 2020 has been focusing on it. He said that assessment should not be only of students but also of teachers, schools and the education system.

Mr. Sharique has written several articles and delivered lectures on different topics on education.

Teachers, principals and people related to school administration from different states of India joined this online program.
