Mumbai: Holistic Education Trust (HET), Maharashtra, organized a two-day Career Guidance Lecture Series titled “From Classroom to Career” on August 31 and September 1, 2026, across four schools in Mumbai, helping students navigate their educational and professional futures.
Two experienced career counselors led the sessions. Mr. Kazim Malik, Senior Counselor and Member of Markazi Talimi Board Maharashtra, and Mr. Aamir Ansari, Career Counselor and Headmaster of Madni High School, addressed students on educational fields, career opportunities, and future planning. Both counselors urged students to align their career choices with their individual abilities, interests, and the opportunities available to them.
On August 31, lectures were held at Shaikh Misri School, Wadala, and Chembur Station Municipal Urdu Secondary School. The following day, September 1, the programme moved to Scholar School, Jogeshwari, and Farooq Sattar Oomerbhoy High School for Girls, Jogeshwari.
The series drew active cooperation from school administrators at each venue. HET extended special appreciation to Ms. Ghazala, Headmistress of Farooq Girls High School; Mr. Faheem, In-charge of Shaikh Misri Municipal School, Wadala; and Mr. Mahfooz Siddiqui, Secretary of Al-Qalam Education and Welfare Society, Jogeshwari, for their support in making the programme a success.
Mr. Khan Ilyas Dawood, In-charge of the programme, played a key role in coordinating and executing the lecture series across all four schools.
HET, Maharashtra, confirmed it will continue organizing such career guidance initiatives to support students in their academic development and professional planning going forward.
