Hyderabad’s Muskan Begum Becomes Commercial Pilot, Meets Asaduddin Owaisi

Hyderabad: Muskan Begum, a 21-year-old from Pahadi Meer Mahmood, Jalal Baba Nagar, has achieved her childhood dream of becoming a commercial pilot. She met All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President and Hyderabad MP Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi, who praised her achievement and encouraged her to inspire the youth of the Old City.

Muskan is the daughter of Mohammed Ismail and Tasleem Begum. Her father, employed in Qatar, supported her dream despite belonging to a middle-income family. Muskan said her fascination with aviation began as a child when she accompanied her father to the airport during his travels abroad.

After completing her intermediate education, Muskan cleared four qualifying exams in India before heading to South Africa. She trained in Cape Town for about 18 months and earned her commercial pilot license. Upon returning to India, she shared her accomplishment with Owaisi, who spoke to her parents over the phone and congratulated them for their sacrifices and perseverance.

Owaisi lauded Muskan’s determination and urged her to serve as a role model for the youth, especially girls, in Hyderabad’s Old City. He said her success should motivate others to pursue higher goals despite financial or social barriers.
