Muslim Schoolboys Assaulted Over Faith Inside Jharkhand Campus

Lohardaga: Three Muslim minor boys faced a violent assault inside a higher secondary school campus in Jharkhand’s Lohardaga district. The attack involved classmates along with several outsiders and followed verbal abuse linked to religious identity.

One of the injured students, Abrar Ansari, described events leading up to the assault. He said the boys entered their classroom after breakfast when hostile slogans targeting Muslims rang out. The boys chose to ignore the threats and attempted to leave the room. A group then dragged them back inside and launched an attack.

Ansari reported head injuries and visible bleeding after the assault. He said around 20 to 25 people took part. The group included fellow students along with individuals from outside the school premises.

The boys alleged staff members present at the time failed to intervene. According to the account, teachers remained silent during the attack and offered no immediate assistance. The injured students later spoke to local reporters while still wearing blood stained uniforms.

The incident raised serious concerns around safety for Muslim students within educational institutions. Parents and community members expressed alarm over the presence of outsiders inside the school during class hours. Questions also arose over supervision and response protocols during violent incidents on campus.

No information has emerged regarding disciplinary action or arrests linked to the assault. Authorities have yet to share details on steps taken after the incident.

The case adds to wider concerns over rising hostility faced by Muslim children in public spaces. Families now seek accountability, safety assurances, and clear action from school authorities and local administration.
