Muslim Youth Offers Kidney to Hindu Seer in Madhya Pradesh

Narmadapuram: In a remarkable gesture of humanity, a young Muslim man from Madhya Pradesh has offered to donate one of his kidneys to Hindu seer Premanand Maharaj, who is suffering from kidney failure.

The man, identified as Arif Khan Chisti, is a resident of Nyas Colony in Itarsi, Narmadapuram district. He wrote a letter to the seer, expressing his willingness to donate a kidney. The letter was sent through the office of District Collector Sonia Meena and also by email.

Arif, who completed his education till Class XII and now works online, recently got married. He lives with his father and three elder brothers. In his letter, he praised Premanand Maharaj as a symbol of Hindu-Muslim unity and described his presence as essential in today’s environment of hate.

“The presence of saints like you is necessary in the country’s current environment,” Arif wrote. He added, “Whether I live or not, your life is precious for this world. I voluntarily offer one kidney of mine to you. Please accept this small token.”

According to reports, Premanand Maharaj, 56, is battling Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease, a condition that has left both his kidneys non-functional. A devotee of Radha Rani, he resides in Vrindavan, where he runs an ashram and delivers spiritual discourses.

The letter has drawn attention for its strong message of compassion and communal harmony at a time when relations between communities face strain.
