Muslims in Bhaniyana Protest against Yati Narsinghanand’s Blasphemous Remarks

Pokhran: In response to blasphemous remarks made by Yati Narsinghanand about Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, protests have erupted nationwide. The Muslims in Bhaniyana, Jaisalmer, joined the outcry by organizing a peaceful march and submitting a memorandum to the local Tehsildar, demanding strict action against Yati Narsinghanand.

The outrage stems from Narsinghanand’s blasphemous comments, which were made during an event in Ghaziabad. Since then, numerous protests have been held across the state, with delegations submitting formal complaints and demanding the arrest of the accused. In Bhaniyana, a large gathering of Muslims assembled to voice their concern. They raised slogans and urged authorities to take immediate steps to address the issue. A heavy police presence was maintained to ensure order during the demonstration.

The Muslim leaders expressed their deep concern over the derogatory remarks made against Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, stating that such statements are completely unacceptable. They reiterated their respect for the law and the Constitution, carrying copies of the Constitution during the protest. The protesters emphasized that the Muslim community is committed to peace, but warned that blasphemous remarks threaten to disrupt harmony of the nation.

The community called for urgent action, including removal of the offending video from all social media platforms and prosecution of Yati Narsinghanand. They demanded that swift legal measures be taken to prevent such incidents from recurring in the future.
