Muzaffarnagar Muslims Reject Terror And Condemn Blame Targeting Community

Muzaffarnagar: Muslims in Muzaffarnagar gathered at Ahilya Bai Chowk to protest against terrorism after the recent car blast near Delhi’s Red Fort Metro station. Members of the Hindustani Pasmanda Manch led the demonstration. They burned effigies linked to extremist violence and demanded strong action against those involved in the attack.

The Delhi blast killed 13 people and injured 20. Several Muslims were among the victims. Despite this, social media users targeted Muslim and Kashmiri youth. Local residents said the protest aimed to send a clear message that Muslims reject terrorism. Protesters held placards and raised slogans that called for unity across communities.

A member of the Pasmanda Manch said terrorism has no religion. He added that Muslims support every victim and stand against every act of violence. Another protester said blaming the entire community harms innocent people. He added that Muslims felt hurt because hateful comments began circulating online even before facts were confirmed.

Participants voiced concern about extremist groups operating from Pakistan. They said these groups harm people across religious lines. A senior participant said terrorism destroys families and does not spare anyone. The crowd demanded prompt investigation and punishment for the attackers.

An organiser said every community should stand together on this issue. He added that swift identification of the culprits would help restore trust. Many young people at the protest said they attended because they wanted to publicly reject attempts to associate Muslims with terror. Locals said the deaths of Muslims in the blast show how terror attacks affect everyone.

The gathering ended peacefully. Protesters repeated their call for unity and urged the government to prevent the spread of hate.
