Bengaluru: For the tenth organisational term 2025-26 Navida Husain Asadi from Arehally was elected president and Anis Fatima from Koppal as vice president of Girls Islamic Organisation, Karanataka.
The elections were held here yesterday in a session of the Advisory Council of the organisation and under the patronship of Dr. Belgami Mohammed Saad, state president of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind.
Nousheen Farda of Bengaluru and Samreen Banu from Manvi were elected general secretary and joint secretary respectively.
GIO is an Islamic movement which strives to prepare girl students and young women for reconstruction of the society as per the Divine guidance of Allah.
