Pune: New Grace English School, under the Grace Education Foundation, proudly hosted its annual flagship event “The Qur’an Talks – A Competition of Reflection, Understanding, and Living the Qur’an” on 10th and 11th November 2025. Dedicated to the memory of Late Mr. Jamaluddin Shaikh, the programme aimed to nurture a deeper understanding of the Qur’an and inspire students to embody its message in their character and conduct.
The girls’ competition was honoured by the gracious presence of Adv. Nazneen, Mrs. Rashida Kalim, Dr. Sabiha Sayed, Mrs. Sameera, Mrs. Asiya Arshad, and Mrs. Sadeka Shaikh, whose encouraging words uplifted the participants and added dignity to the occasion. Likewise, the boys’ event was enriched by the scholarly presence of Mufti Abdullah, along with community stalwarts Mr. Iqbal Shaikh, Mr. Khalid Zaheer, and Mr. Iqbal Shaikh, while the judging panel—Maulana Shujauddin Nadwi, Maulana Sami Falahi, and Maulana Zishan—offered insightful guidance and beautiful reminders that resonated deeply with the students.
Across both days, students presented heartfelt recitations, reflections, and thematic explanations that revealed not just preparation, but a sincere emotional connection with the Holy Qur’an. Their clarity, confidence, and devotion earned appreciation from dignitaries and judges alike.
The programme was further elevated by the presence of Chairman Mr. Zakiuddin, Principal Mrs. Fareha Sayed, and Vice Principal Dr. Amrin Ayaz Shaikh, who awarded trophies, gifts, and cash prizes to outstanding performers, reinforcing the school’s commitment to holistic and value-based education.
Concluding with heartfelt du’as and uplifting reminders, The Qur’an Talks became more than a competition—it emerged as a meaningful spiritual experience that strengthened values, deepened understanding, and nurtured a lifelong love for the Qur’an among the students of New Grace English School.
