Racing at the SEC Outdoor Track And Field Championships at James G. Pressly Stadium in Florida, United States, Khan became the first Indian track athlete to achieve this prestigious milestone, dominating the 1500-meter race with a commendable time of 3:44.98.

Hailing from a modest farming family in Haryana, Parvej Khan’s journey to victory embodies the essence of determination and perseverance. Raised in Chahalka village, Mewat district, Khan’s upbringing amidst the rustic fields cultivated a spirit of resilience and ambition.
