New Delhi: Congress General Secretary and MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra condemned Israel’s military actions in Gaza, calling the government “cowards” and praising Palestinian resilience.
In a post on X, she called the attacks “cold-blooded murder,” saying Israel’s actions show that “humanity means nothing” to them. “Their actions reflect weakness. The more criminally they act, the more they expose their cowardice.”
The airstrikes, ordered by PM Benjamin Netanyahu, followed Hamas’ refusal to alter the ceasefire terms. The assault killed over 400 Palestinians, including 174 children, drawing global condemnation.
Priyanka Gandhi criticized Western powers for ignoring the genocide. “All citizens of conscience, including many Israelis, see it, whether western powers acknowledge their collusion or not.”
She praised Palestinian resilience. “They have endured unimaginable suffering, yet their spirit remains strong.”
Earlier, she showed solidarity by carrying a “Palestine” bag with a watermelon symbol in Parliament, sparking political debate.
