Aligarh: Prof. Shaheena Tarannum, Chairperson, Department of English, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) attended the three-day National Workshop on Leadership Development for Deans of Faculties and Heads of Departments of Universities, organised by the Department of Higher and Professional Education, National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), New Delhi during December 2-4, 2024.
Prof Tarannum said the workshop, aimed at developing leadership qualities in senior faculty members to master new and interdisciplinary approaches to leadership and helping them understand and overcome the challenges of academic administration, focused on providing them with an opportunity to get acquainted with the norms of strategic planning of institutions and improving teaching and learning in higher educational institutions.
