Sikar, Rajasthan: The Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Sikar unit, organized a public gathering, Jalsa Seerat-e-Paak ﷺ, at Jama Masjid Chowk on the theme “Prophet Muhammad ﷺ – The Messenger for All.” The event drew a large participation from residents of the city who came to listen to the spiritual and social messages delivered by scholars.
In his keynote address, Jamaat’s Central Secretary Salman Ahmad said the Muslim community has forgotten one of the greatest Sunnahs of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ — the duty of Da’wah (inviting to Islam). “In the present circumstances, fulfilling this responsibility is of utmost importance,” he remarked, adding that the Prophet ﷺ lived by the teachings of the Qur’an and presented an exemplary model for humanity.
Speaking on the occasion, Jamaat’s Amir-e-Halqa (state president) Muhammad Nazimuddin outlined the relevance of the Qur’an and Hadith in guiding all aspects of human life. He stressed that the Prophet’s message offers timeless solutions for moral and social challenges.
Other speakers, including Engineer Khurshid Husain and Usman Gani, highlighted various dimensions of the Seerah (life and character) of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, urging the audience to draw practical lessons from his life and apply them in today’s context.
The program was conducted by Mohammad Yunus, who moderated the proceedings. The event concluded with prayers, as a large number of citizens of Sikar expressed their respect and enthusiasm in learning from the life of the Prophet ﷺ.
