Malegaon: At a one-day training session of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind Malegaon was held at Hajj Committee School No. 1, in which Maulana Hafiz Mohammad Nadeem Siddiqui, President of JUH Maharashtra, emphasised the need to work with wisdom and strategy in the current national scenario.
“The responsibility on your shoulders today is as significant as it was between 1934 and 1945. Just as scholars made sacrifices then, this era demands the same dedication,” he told the gathering of members, office-bearers, and supporters.
Maulana Asif Shaban, President of JUH Malegaon, introduced the organisation and its significance. He highlighted Jamiat’s rich legacy. He noted that its contributions are a “shining chapter in India’s history.”
Addressing the participants, Advocate Momin Mujeeb discussed the importance of protecting Waqf properties and ensuring their proper registration. He warned that negligence in this area could result in significant losses. Siddiqui echoed these concerns, encouraging Ulama to act on the advocate’s advice for the betterment of the community.
The event aimed to raise awareness about Jamiat’s objectives, ensure the protection of faith and religious institutions, promote both religious and modern education, and remind officials of their roles. Siddiqui urged Ulama to understand the seriousness of the current situation and adopt strategic efforts to meet these challenges.
