Quraninhindi.com Adds Audio Section Featuring Arabic Recitation and Hindi Translation

New Delhi: Quraninhindi.com, a popular website offering the Arabic text and Hindi translation of the Quran, has launched an audio section. The addition was inaugurated by Maulana Waliullah Sayeedi Falahi, Vice President Jamaat-e-Islami Hind at JIH headquarters. This enhancement allows users to listen to the Quranic recitation in Arabic alongside its Hindi translation, in addition to reading the text.

The website, run under the Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Delhi, aims to make the Quran accessible to Hindi-speaking audience.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, JIH Delhi Ameer, Salimullah Khan, highlighted the growing interest in reading and listening to the Hindi translation of the Quran. He commended the team behind the project, emphasising the ongoing efforts to improve the website and the significance of this new feature.

Waris Hussain, who played a pivotal role in launching the website, shared insights into its journey. Initially, the site only hosted the Hindi translation by Maulana Farooq Khan. Last year, the Arabic text was added, and now, the audio section has been launched.

Dr. Waqar Anwar presented usage statistics to underscore the website’s popularity, revealing that it received over three million hits last year. Users from various countries contributed to this traffic, with 52% from India, 35% from the United States, 4% from Canada, 3% from Saudi Arabia, and 1% each from Poland, the UAE, and the UK.

The technical expertise for the website was provided by Absar-ul-Haq, who was commended for his dedication and skill in the project.

The event concluded with a prayer by Maulana Waliullah Sayeedi Falahi.
