Jaipur : The Jaipur unit of the All India Ideal Teachers Association (AIITA) celebrated Teachers’ Day by honoring outstanding educators with the “Ideal Teachers Award.” A grand ceremony held at the Islamic Center’s hall on Sunday at 10 AM recognized 30 teachers for their remarkable contributions to education.
The event was graced by chief guest, former Collector A.R. Khan, along with distinguished guests, including litterateur Rizwan Aijazi, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Rajasthan President Muhammad Nazimuddin, and AIITA State President Khalid Akhtar.
Speakers emphasized the pivotal role of teachers in society. Muhammad Nazimuddin urged teachers to dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to the betterment of the nation and society, stating, “Teachers are the foundation of society; progress is impossible without them.”
Rizwan Aijazi highlighted, “Teachers are the architects of the nation. They not only impart knowledge but also shape students’ character and future.”
Chief guest A.R. Khan inspired the audience, saying, “The key to success lies in continuously enhancing one’s abilities and never refusing any task. Teachers must keep learning and become a source of inspiration for society.”
The awardees, including Dr. Reshma Sheikh, Brij Mohan Kumawat, Muhammad Sarfaraz, Mudassir Khan, Shakir Ansari, Shadma Khatoon, Janisar Hameed, Priya Gupta, Nandini Madam, Muhammad Adil Sabri, Parveen Bano, Nida Khan, and Muhammad Akram, among others, were honored for their exceptional educational services and societal contributions.
AIITA State President Khalid Akhtar noted that the event aimed to acknowledge teachers’ contributions and encourage them to serve society better. “Teachers are the lamps that dispel darkness and spread the light of knowledge,” he said.
The ceremony was lauded by attendees, including dignitaries and educators, as an inspiring step for the education sector. It concluded with expressions of gratitude and wishes for a bright future for all teachers.
