Prophet Muhammad is a Source of Mercy for All: Prof Wajid Ali Khan

Jafrabad: A public program on the life and message of Prophet Muhammad was organised in Jafrabad under the banner of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind. Speaking at the event, Professor Wajid Ali Khan, president of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Nashik, said that God sent Prophet Muhammad as a source of mercy for the entire creation. He added that all human beings are children of the same parents and true religion lies in treating every person with love.

Professor Khan highlighted that 1460 years ago, the Prophet delivered a universal message that the Creator is one and that by recognising Him, humanity can achieve success both in this world and in the hereafter. Through the Quran and his own life, the Prophet provided a path of peace, safety, and devotion, which addresses the problems faced by human society.

The event began with the recitation of the Quran by Hafiz Sayyed Nazim. Among the dignitaries present were Siddharth College Principal R. T. Deshmukh, Dr. P. G. Deshmukh, Abdul Khuddar, Kundalik Mule, Dnyaneshwar Nikam, Habib Aiderus Chous, and Kabir Baba. Principal Deshmukh also stressed that the Quran offers solutions to human challenges. Other speakers included Dr. Deshmukh, Abdul Khuds, and Mule.

The program was introduced by Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Jafrabad city president Mumtaz Ali Khan. Anchoring was done by Aslam Pathan and Rizwan Shaikh, while Naseem Shaikh proposed the vote of thanks. The gathering saw active participation from people of different communities. Local leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Youth Movement of Maharashtra, and SIO worked together for its successful organisation.
