Rahul Gandhi Alleges Central Government Shielding Gautam Adani

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has sharply criticised the central government over the bribery allegations against industrialist Gautam Adani. Accusing Adani of violating laws in both India and the United States, Rahul Gandhi claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is backing the businessman.

In a statement, Rahul Gandhi asserted, “Adani will not be arrested because the central government is protecting him.” He demanded a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe into the matter and the immediate arrest of Gautam Adani.

Rahul further called for an investigation into the role of SEBI chief Madhavi in allegedly shielding Adani in the case. He announced that the Congress party would raise the issue in Parliament.

“Despite being involved in a ₹2,000 crore scam, Adani remains untouched. I can guarantee that he will not face arrest because the Indian government is safeguarding him,” Rahul Gandhi alleged.

The remarks highlight the Congress party’s continued push for accountability in the Adani controversy, intensifying political tensions ahead of the upcoming parliamentary session.
