Rajasthan Central University Hosts Ninth Convocation Ceremony: Dr. Raheem Khan Honored for PhD in Journalism by Union Minister

Kishangarh, Ajmer: Rajasthan Central University held its ninth convocation at the Bandarsindri campus. The ceremony celebrated academic achievements with gold medals and degrees awarded to top-performing students.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan attended as chief guest. Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Bhagirath Chaudhary, was guest of honor. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Anand Bhalerao presided over the event. His leadership has advanced the university in academics and research.

Dr. Raheem Khan, from Chhabra, received his PhD in Journalism from the Department of Culture and Media Studies. He was felicitated by Ministers Pradhan, Chaudhary, and Prof. Bhalerao. His achievement reflects his dedication and the quality of the university’s journalism program.

The convocation marked a milestone for many students who received undergraduate, postgraduate, and research degrees. Parents, faculty, and staff witnessed the momentous event.

Since its inception, Rajasthan Central University has excelled in education and research. It also contributes to social and cultural fields.

Minister Pradhan, in his speech, called education a lifelong journey. He said convocation is a milestone, not an endpoint. He encouraged students to take responsibility for nation-building.

He referred to the National Education Policy 2020, which supports multidisciplinary, skill-based, and job-oriented education. He also mentioned that eight foreign universities have set up campuses in India to boost global collaboration.

Pradhan praised Rajasthan’s students for success in JEE and NEET. He lauded the state’s rich heritage in knowledge, science, arts, and literature. He urged youth to blend tradition with innovation to help India become a developed nation by 2047.

Quoting “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (the world is one family), he asked students to use their innovation, skills, and leadership to serve 140 crore Indians and humanity at large.
