Reception Committee Formed for AIMPLB Annual Session in Bengaluru

New Delhi: The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) will host its annual session in Bengaluru on November 23-24. In preparation, a reception committee has been established, incorporating representatives from various schools of thought, religious organizations, and community leaders.

This decision was made during a consultative meeting held at Darul Uloom Sabeelur Rashad on September 24, chaired by AIMPLB General Secretary Maulana Fazlur Raheem Mujaddidi. The meeting featured participation from AIMPLB members and prominent figures from Karnataka, focusing on the organization of the upcoming session.

Maulana Mujaddidi emphasized the significance of AIMPLB sessions and the importance of conducting activities with sincerity and commitment. AIMPLB Secretary Maulana Muhammad Umarayn Mahfuz Rahmani addressed administrative matters and highlighted the necessity for inclusive representation from all religious and community organizations within the reception committee.

Following discussions, several sub-committees were formed to assist in the organization of the event. Maulana Sagheer Ahmad Rashadi, Ameer Sharia of Karnataka and a member of the Board, has been appointed Convenor of the reception committee, supported by a team of assistant convenors.

Additionally, a large public meeting is planned to reinforce the Board’s mission, especially in light of the current challenges facing the country. Key attendees of the meeting included Maulana Peer Tanweer Hashmi, Asim Afroz Seth, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, Siraj Ibrahim Seth, Maulana Muhammad Maqsood Imran Rashadi, Mufti Iftikhar Ahmad Qasmi, Dr. Sa’d Belgami, Sulaiman Khan, Mr. Ubaid Allah, Muhibullah Ameen, Mr. Syed Shahid, Maulana Waheeduddin Khan Umri, Mawlana Muhammad Shakir Allah Rashadi, Maulana Iftakhar Muhsin, Fayyaz Shareef, Mussadiq Akeeri, and Mr. Mubin Muawwar.

AIMPLB is poised to conduct special meetings as part of this annual session, underlining its commitment to addressing the needs and concerns of the Indian Muslim community.
