Bengaluru, April 29: Madrasa-e-Faizul Quran, on the outskirts of the city, conducted a felicitation programme for media persons in recognition of their services to society.
“Muhibbe Urdu” awards were presented on this occasion to S.A. Khaliq, chief reporter of the daily Pasban; Nematulla Hamidi, resident editor of the daily Rashtriya Sahara; Amjadulla Khan, reporter Varthabharti daily; Imtiaz Ulla Khan of Sada-e-Hind channel and Azmatulla Khan.
On this occasion, in recognition of their long services, Imams of few Masjids were also felicitated. They include Moulana Ikram Razvi Noori, Moulana Ghulam Rabbani and Moulana Mujahidul Islam, who were presented “Faizul Quran Khateeb Awards”.
Rector of the Madrasa, Moulana Mohammed Sufi and Syed Salahuddin, president of the Madrasa Trust and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
