Mumbai : Red Angels Network, a dynamic youth-led organisation committed to blood donation and community welfare, organised two impactful blood donation camps in Vikhroli Parksite and Cheetah Camp, Mumbai. The initiative saw overwhelming participation from the local community, especially the youth, and resulted in the collection of 104 units of blood.
The blood donation camps were held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a dedicated team of doctors and medical staff ensuring smooth operations, donor safety, and strict hygiene standards throughout the day.
The event was graced by Rajool Patil, daughter of Member of Parliament Sanjay Dina Patil, who praised the initiative. “Such welfare measures not only become a means of saving human lives but also give a message of service, solidarity, and compassion in society,” she remarked, encouraging more such youth-led efforts in the future.
The enthusiastic turnout and selfless spirit of the volunteers and donors reflected a strong sense of social responsibility and community service. The success of the event has inspired Red Angels to plan similar initiatives across the city, aiming to bridge the gap in emergency blood availability and promote a culture of giving.
