RIFAH Bidar Chapter Organises Special Programme to Empower Huffaz and Ulama Toward Halal Livelihoods

Bidar: A special programme dedicated to Huffaz and Ulama was organised by the RIFAH Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RIFAH) Bidar Chapter Leadership. The event, which saw the participation of over 100 scholars, aimed to guide individuals associated with Masjids toward halal and sustainable income opportunities, enabling them to maintain their religious responsibilities while achieving financial self-reliance.

The gathering was graced by eminent scholars including Maulana Monis Kirmani Hussami and Maulana Abdul Gani Khan Hussami from Bidar, and Maulana Fayaz Ahmed Qasmi from Humnabad.

The programme was presided over by Mr. Rafiq Ahmed Gadgi, National Advisory Member of RIFAH and President of the event, along with Mr. Taufeeq Aslam Khan, also a National Advisory Member. The RIFAH Bidar Leadership Team, as well as representatives from the Humnabad Chapter led by Mr. Nasir Choudhry, graced the occasion.

The event commenced with recitation from the Holy Qur’an, followed by the proceedings anchored by Mr. Mohammed Siraj.

In his address, Mr. Taufeeq Aslam Khan highlighted various RIFAH initiatives, explaining how individuals could launch import–export ventures through the RIFAH platform with minimal investment, obtaining an export licence for as little as ₹500. He underscored the importance of acquiring proper knowledge and experience before entering business.

Representing RIFAH Bidar, Mr. Mohammed Ashfaque emphasised the need for digital literacy, urging participants to explore e-commerce, WhatsApp marketing, and digital marketing to strengthen their enterprises. Mr. Amer Pasha, Vice President of RIFAH Bidar, shared insights on selecting the right business opportunities, stressing the importance of mindset, gradual progress, and consistency.

During the session, nearly ten business ideas were discussed, and participants were introduced to franchise and training opportunities designed to support first-generation entrepreneurs. Financial assistance was also announced for deserving candidates through Karuniya Bank and the Zakat Centre of India, promoting inclusive and ethical entrepreneurship.

A highlight of the programme was the felicitation of Dr. Abdul Qadeer, Patron Member of RIFAH, who was recently honoured with the prestigious Sir Syed Excellence Award 2025 – a proud moment for the RIFAH fraternity.

The programme was smoothly coordinated under the supervision of Mr. Fayaz and Mr. Shakeel, ensuring an impactful and well-organised event.

In his presidential address, Mr. Rafiq Ahmed Gadgi expressed gratitude to all participants and encouraged Ulama and Huffaz to take practical steps toward dignified, halal entrepreneurship.

The event concluded successfully, reaffirming RIFAH’s mission to empower Huffaz and Ulama through sustainable, self-reliant, and halal means of livelihood.
