Aligarh: Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh AMU City School of Aligarh Muslim University organised an inter-school computer quiz competition.
The host team RMPS AMU City School stood first in the competition while ABK Girls School stood second.
Different schools of the university participated in the competition, including AMU Girls School, STS (Minto Circle), ABK High School Boys, ABK High School Girls, City Girls High School and host RMPS AMU City School.
The chief guest Professor Ubaidullah Bukhari of the Department of Computer Science distributed prizes to the winners. Professor Bukhari said that in the present times, knowledge of computers has become necessary for the students from the school level itself.
The programme was conducted by computer teachers Mohammad Shoaib Ahmed, Mohammad Faizan Khan, Mirza Azim Beg and Abu Khalid.
Principal Mr. Tanveer Nabi welcomed the guests and attendees. Vice Principal Dr. Fayyaz Uddin, Suhaib Siddiqui, Mohammad Iqbal, Mohammad Naeem and Dr. Zulfiqar along with students and teachers were present on the occasion.
