Sambhal Police Firing: JUH Pledges ₹5 Lakh Aid for Each Martyr’s Family

New Delhi: The recent police firing in Sambhal has sent shockwaves across the nation. On Thursday, the Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind(M) announced a financial aid package of ₹5 lakh for each family of the deceased, while also committing support for the medical treatment of those injured in the incident.

During an emergency meeting held in Rajabpur, Amroha, JUH(M) President Maulana Mahmood Madani reassured the victims and their families of the organisation’s unwavering solidarity. He pledged to support the affected families in alleviating their hardships and preserving their dignity.

To ensure efficient relief efforts, a special committee has been established, comprising representatives from Sambhal, Amroha, and Moradabad districts. This committee will be led by Hafiz Muhammad Shahid, President of Jamiat Ulama-i-Sambhal. Additionally, a legal team will be formed to provide comprehensive legal assistance to the victims and detainees.

During a visit to TMU Hospital in Moradabad, where several injured individuals are receiving treatment, JUH(M) General Secretary Maulana Hakeemuddin Qasmi condemned the police for their alleged inhumane actions. He strongly criticised the shackling of injured victims and accused the authorities of pressuring detainees to alter their statements, labelling such actions as illegal and unjust.
