Riyadh: As Haj 2025 approaches, Saudi Arabia has rolled out the largest operational plan in the history of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, aiming to enrich the spiritual journey of millions of pilgrims through advanced digital technologies and innovative services, reported the Siasat.
The comprehensive plan, announced by Sheikh Dr Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, President of Religious Affairs, focuses on integrating multilingual communication and artificial intelligence to enhance the pilgrimage experience.
Key Highlights of the Plan Include:
120 enrichment initiatives and 10 smart tracks for digital and spiritual engagement.
50 scientific and intellectual programmes to promote Islamic learning and spiritual growth.
Deployment of 2,000+ trained Saudi personnel at the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.
Seven specialised tracks promoting moderation and tolerance across multiple languages.
Sheikh Dr Al-Sudais emphasized the Kingdom’s commitment to using all available resources to offer a seamless and spiritually fulfilling Haj. He noted that digital platforms and AI tools would play a crucial role in delivering Islam’s message of inclusivity and peace.
The operational strategy revolves around three core pillars:
1. Honouring the time of Haj by underlining its spiritual significance.
2. Elevating the sanctity of place through service quality and innovation.
3. Conveying the message of the Two Holy Mosques to a global audience with excellence and inclusivity.
