Makkah — As the annual Hajj pilgrimage approaches, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, conducted an extensive inspection of key holy sites to review preparations for receiving millions of pilgrims from around the world, reported the Madhyamam.
During his visit to Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah, the minister closely examined the facilities, infrastructure, and services in place to ensure the safety, comfort, and smooth movement of pilgrims throughout the Hajj season. The inspection focused on crowd management systems, healthcare provisions, transportation, sanitation, and other essential logistics.
Dr. Al-Rabiah emphasized the Kingdom’s commitment to continuously improving the pilgrimage experience, in line with Vision 2030, by employing advanced technology and enhanced coordination among government bodies. He praised the efforts of all sectors involved and urged them to maintain the highest standards during the pilgrimage.
The inspection comes as part of a broader strategy to ensure a seamless and spiritually fulfilling Hajj for all pilgrims, particularly in the face of increasing global participation. Saudi authorities have reiterated their dedication to facilitating a safe and well-organized pilgrimage amid the growing influx of international visitors.
