SBF Conducts Training Program on Disaster Response

Dhauj (Haryana), Feb. 26: Society For Bright Future (SBF) conducted a 6-day National Advanced Training Workshop (Disaster Management and Modern Rescue Techniques) at Wild Hawk here from 18-23 February. Fifty participants from 15 States received training on disaster rescue and its modern methods.

The participants were trained by expert trainers having experience in training people associated with various government and non-government organizations. The training was given on all subjects like First Aid, Rock Climbing, River Crossing, Survival Skills in the Jungle, Improved Raft Making, Team Building, Mass Crematorium, Personality Development, and how to save people during disasters like floods.

The program was conducted under the supervision of Maqbool Ahmed Anarwala, BSF President. Anarwala is a retired IPS officer who during his tenure had trained thousands of people associated with the police service on disasters and other subjects. He has a lot of experience in disasters and all the subjects related thereto.

During the concluding session, Anarwala asked all the participants to continue this practice and to train others.

The closing ceremony was attended by Kalimul Hafeez (Chairman Al-Hafeez Foundation), Zubaidur Rehman Khan (Vice-President, Wrestling Federation of India), Shibli Manzoor (Vice-President Minority Cell) as Chief Guests, and journalist Mohammed Ahmed.

Apart from chief guests, SBF Treasurer Atiq Ahmed, National Coordinator Irfan Ahmed, Volunteer Coordinator Dr. Aamir Jamal, Project Coordinator Faiyaz Iqbal, PR Coordinator Ashhar Alam, and Master Trainer Suresh Kumar Ravi Kumar and others were also present.
