Jaipur – The Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) has raised serious questions about the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process in Rajasthan, demanding that the State Election Commission act impartially to add all eligible voters’ names to the electoral rolls.
In a press release, SDPI State Vice President Dr. Shahbuddin Khan highlighted complaints flooding in from across the state to party workers about genuine voters’ names being deleted from the voter list during SIR 2025-2026.
He specifically accused the BJP of orchestrating large-scale removals of names of voters opposed to the party, particularly those from anti-BJP ideologies and minority communities. Khan pointed to the Draft Roll published on December 16, 2025, which saw nearly 42 lakh names deleted—a significant portion of the total electorate.
Reports indicate BJP Booth Level Agents (BLAs) filed massive objections via Form 7, with hundreds or thousands per booth targeted mainly at minority or anti-BJP voters, he alleged.
“These actions aim to completely dismantle democracy and deprive Indian voters of their voting rights,” Khan stated.
He urged the public to immediately contact SDPI local committees with details and evidence of any conspiracies in their wards or booths. “If needed, we will unite affected voters at the state level, approach courts for strict legal action against guilty BLOs or BLAs, and help restore deleted names,” he added.
