New Delhi: The Prize Distribution Ceremony for the Islamic Quiz Competition 2026, organised by Madrasah Taleem-ul-Quran, Jama Masjid Shaheen Bagh, was held on Sunday, 12 July 2026, at Jama Masjid Shaheen Bagh to honour the successful participants.
The programme commenced with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Maulana Hameeduddin Falahi, followed by the welcome address delivered by Dr. Abdur Rahman Falahi.
On the occasion, Maulana Inamullah Falahi, Secretary of Jama Masjid Shaheen Bagh Trust, delivered a talk on Madrasah Taleem-ul-Quran: Educational System, Objectives and Distinctive Features. He highlighted the institution’s educational mission and its unique integration of Islamic and modern education.
A presentation titled “Shaheen Masjid: A Unique Model of Religious and Contemporary Education” was jointly delivered by Mr. Haseeb Ahmad, Former Registrar of Jamia Millia Islamia, and Mr. S. Yusuf Qasim. The presentation showcased the Madrasah’s educational framework, its objectives, and its various community service initiatives.
During the ceremony, 13 senior and 13 junior students who excelled in the Islamic Quiz Competition were honoured with gifts, cash prizes, and certificates in recognition of their outstanding performance. The students were warmly applauded and encouraged for their achievements.
The event was attended by teachers, students, parents and guardians, members of the Jama Masjid Shaheen Bagh administration, trustees of the Jama Masjid Shaheen Bagh Trust, and other distinguished guests.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Mohammad Nayyar, Manager, who expressed gratitude to the guests, participants, teachers, and supporters for their valuable contributions. He also appealed for their continued cooperation in the growth and success of the Madrasah.
