SIO Children’s Event at Nehru Stadium Leaves Lasting Impact

Yavatmal, Maharashtra, Dec. 29: The Students Islamic Organisation of India, Yavatmal Unit, recently hosted an indoor and outdoor event for children, bringing smiles to their faces, at Nehru Stadium here. The chief organizers, including Ubair Siddiqui (President, SIO Yavatmal), Naved Sheikh (JAC organizer), Shafeen Khan, Zameer Khan, Monis, Atiqur Rahman, and Furqan Ahmad, were present.

Speaking to Radiance, Ubair Siddiqui said the main motive behind this event is to nurture talents in students by involving them in physical activities to enhance their strength, promote team spirit, and encourage fair play among them.

Indoor activities included a quiz competition, speeches on Islamic history and literature aimed at promoting reading and understanding Islamic thoughts.

Ubair added that SIO is committed to imparting knowledge and awareness to students, preparing them to become torchbearers of morality and ethics to combat evils by reinforcing their own lives. It also strives to promote values in the educational system and create a better academic and moral atmosphere in educational institutions.

Above all, preference is given to spreading the truths as understood by the organization among the most critical group of civil society.

The chief organizer, Naved Sheikh, stated that the event, held was a resounding success, with kids of all ages participating in various activities and games.

Furthermore, Naved said, “The event commenced with an energetic welcome address by the Unit President, who emphasized the importance of fair play and physical activities for youth’s development. This was followed by a series of engaging outdoor and indoor activities, such as football, relay races, tug of war, puzzle races, debate, and educational quizzes. The children eagerly participated in these activities, showcasing their creativity and knowledge.

“The organization’s efforts were lauded by teachers alike, who appreciated the positive impact it had on their students,” said Naved.
