Jaipur, Feb. 6: Students Islamic Organization of India (SIO) Jaipur organized an Islamic Knowledge Test (IKT) on November 5, 2023, in which around 2500 students participated. A prize distribution ceremony was organized at Muslim Musafirkhana here on January 28. The event was attended by over 1200 people.
SIO city convener Zainul Abedin said the competition was organized smoothly with different conveners appointed for different areas of the city. Wajid Ali was convener for Shastri Nagar, Affan Khan for Ramganj, and Muaz Ahmed Siddiqui for Karbala.
Zainul Abedin further said the “real purpose of IKT was to promote higher education among children and inspire them to fulfill their responsibilities by recognizing the real purpose of life. Therefore, the theme of this test was Knowledge for Life, Life for Islam.”
He informed this scribe that a total of 12 children who secured the first three positions in 4 groups were awarded cash prizes, mementos, and books. In addition, children who secured 4th to 10th position were awarded mementos, books, and certificates. Besides, every student who participated in the test was awarded a certificate.
Sumaiya Maryam (Assistant Secretary, JIH), Er. Ramzan Yusuf (Member, Advisory Committee JIH Rajasthan) as chief guests, and Zahid Khan (Zonal Secretary SIO Rajasthan) and Hiba Naz (Zonal Secretary, GIO Rajasthan) as special guests were felicitated by presenting them with mementos. The program was conducted by Syed Shadan and Zainul Abedin.
Zainul Abedin said the program was organized to encourage children and make them understand the importance of education.
