Bhiwandi’s two-day Jashn-e-Taleem festival, dedicated to education and artistic excellence, concluded with a grand finale at the Ansari Marriage Hall. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, writers, and dignitaries and was streamed live on YouTube, attracting over 18,000 viewers.
The finale featured awards for outstanding students and cultural performances by various schools, including patriotic skits, traditional songs, and group dances. Prominent figures such as DCP Mohan Daikher, municipal officials, and educators attended the event. MLA Rais Shaikh inaugurated the festival and announced Mission Merit, a special coaching initiative for students of grades 8 to 12, along with NEET and JEE coaching at the Ansari Playground Study Center.
DCP Daikher praised the event, stating, “This is the first time we are witnessing a festival dedicated to education.” Stressing girls’ education, he added, “When a girl is educated, she uplifts an entire family.” ACP Sachin Sangle briefed female students on women’s safety laws, assuring them of police support.
A major highlight was the Women Achievers Award 2025, where Humeira Mirza emerged as the winner, receiving ₹50,000. Hosted by Simab Anwar and Abu Zar Akhtar, the festival reinforced its reputation as a significant educational and cultural event in Bhiwandi.
