Sangod, Kota, Feb. 27: On Monday, the students of Khajuri school took out a foot march from the school to the Sangod SDM office, demanding the reinstatement of the suspended teachers. At the SDM office, the students submitted a memorandum to the Tehsildar, demanding that all the suspended teachers should be brought back. They also demanded that action should be taken against those who gave false statements against their teachers.

The students alleged that Suresh God, Dean Bandhu Gaud, Nandkishor Gochar, Chandu Gaud, Sarpanch Mahavir Singh, Mahavir Suman, Jodhraj Nagar, Chandrakal Gaud, Jyoti Gochar, Yash Gochar, Tushar Chowdhary, Ankit Chowdhary, Himanshu Gochar, Kusant Gaud, Anita Gaud, Kulwant Gaud, etc. are behind the conspiracy to implicate their teachers.

“FIR should be registered against all of them and action should be taken,” said the memorandum. The students demanded from the Tehsildar that their teachers, Firoz Khan, Mirza Mujahid, Shabana Madam should be brought back as soon as possible, and the false allegations leveled against them be dropped.

The Principal, all the teachers, SMC President, Ward Panch, etc. working in the school have also called the allegations against the teachers false and baseless.

Senior teacher Sumanlata Meena informed the investigating officer Sangod in writing that Hindu and Muslim students study in the school, but no member of the school staff teaches the children about love jihad; no religious program or activity is organized in the school.

Teacher Ranu Kumari told the investigating officer that Hindu and Muslim students study in the School. No member of the staff encourages children for conversion nor teaches them about love jihad.

Senior teacher Surendra Kumar Meena told him in writing that no work related to love jihad and conversion has been done in the school. “Here only education-related activities are conducted. The allegations leveled against the teachers are baseless and false.”

Principal Dr. Kamlesh Kumar Bairava told him in writing that the complaints received against the school and the employees, in which the teachers have been accused of religious conversion, love jihad and teaching namaz, etc. are false. “As for the complaint received about the change of religion of a student in the application form, it happened due to human error. That form also bears the signature of the student’s father. And the religion and caste of the student are correctly entered in the SR register.”

Suspended teacher Firoz Khan told the investigating officer in writing that Muskan, daughter of Balram had been admitted to Class X in 2019-20. While filling out the admission form, due to human error, Islam was written instead of Hinduism in the religion column. In the session 2019-20, three students, Muskan, daughter of Nizam; Muskan, daughter of Balram; and Muskan Bano, daughter of Shaukat Ali were studying in the class. Due to human error in the admission form, religion of all was written as Islam. Whereas the caste of Muskan, daughter of Balram in the school’s SR register is God and religion is Hindu. “The allegation made against me about religion is false. I do not do any religious work during school hours, nor do I tell the children about religious activities. I am doing my teaching work properly.”

Suspended teacher Shabana told the investigating officer, “I do not contribute to any religious activity in the school nor do I teach any religious work to the children. My only job in the school is to teach English and I am doing my job properly.”

Teachers Vandana Kaloshiya, Ravindra Kumar Verma, and Deepak Nakwal, in their submissions, told the investigating officer that children of all religions study in the School and no child is encouraged for conversion. Nor is love jihad taught. Here all children are given equal education. No religious program or activity is organized in the school. And the allegations of jihad and conversion leveled against the school teachers are baseless and false.

Ward Panch Suresh Kumar told the investigating officer, “We have never seen anything like the complaint received by the villagers about love jihad and conversion against the teachers of the school. There is nothing like that in the program on January 26. The activities of the school are going on smoothly under our supervision.”

School Management Committee President Lokesh Kumar Gochar told the investigating officer, “I have never seen anything like this in the school, such as the complaint received by the villagers about offering namaz and conversion in the school. A play on Sarvadharma Sadbhav was performed on January 26, to which there is no objection. The play showed goodwill towards all religions. According to my supervision, the day-to-day activities of the school are going on smoothly.”
