Amravati, May 28, 2024: Alhamdulillah, the two-day CIO Orientation Camp concluded successfully in every aspect. Held on May 25-26, 2024, at Masjid Tauheed in Amravati, the camp saw enthusiastic participation from both male and female mentors, as well as students from GIO and SIO. The camp had 82 female mentors and GIO students, and 46 male mentors and SIO students in attendance.
The program commenced on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 10:00 AM with a Quran lesson. The camp featured insightful sessions by the Central Secretary of CIO, Mr. Syed Tanveer Ahmed, and the Assistant Central Secretary of CIO, Ms. Khan Mubashara Firdous.
Discussions focused on the establishment, expansion, and strengthening of CIO. Various methods and strategies for conducting children’s programs were shared. A panel discussion highlighted effective ways to conduct weekly CIO meetings. Online resources for the training and development of children were also presented. Circle leaders and committee members provided excellent guidance on various topics. Under the theme “Ideal Mentor,” Mr. Tanveer Ahmed delivered an outstanding speech.
In the concluding session, titled “We Must Illuminate These Particles to Become the Sun,” Ms. Bushra Naheed, Secretary of CIO Maharashtra, delivered a compelling and well-reasoned address. Some mentors shared their impressions and ambitions, clearly showing their inspiration from the camp and expressing their future plans.
Throughout the program, all mentors were divided into groups and given assignments, which they completed with great enthusiasm. Successful groups were awarded medals. Additionally, two individuals who actively participated in the Q&A session received awards.
Finally, the Circle Secretary and CIO Supervisor, Mr. Muhammad Zafar Ansari, delivered a heartfelt and motivational farewell speech. The camp concluded with a prayer led by Mr. Ansari.
All mentors departed with renewed determination and high spirits.
