Hyderabad, July 31: The Telangana government has placed Tafseer Iqubal, Special Secretary to Government, Minorities Welfare Department, in full additional charge of Secretary, Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGMREIS).
The government has also appointed Mohammed Asadullah, Special Grade Deputy Collector, Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA), as the CEO of the Telangana State Waqf Board.
Tafseeq Iqubal, an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of 2008 batch, will continue to hold full additional charge of the post of Deputy Inspector General, Intelligence Security Wing.
Aisha Masarath Khanam, secretary of TGMREIS, has been transferred. The IAS (2015) officer has been asked to report before the General Administration Department.
According to a government order issued on July 31, the services of Asadullah, Special Grade Deputy Collector, HMDA are placed at the disposal of the Minorities Welfare Department for appointment as CEO, Waqf Board in the existing vacancy.
Yasmeen Basha, IAS (2015), Director, Horticulture and Sericulture is placed in Full Additional Charge of the post of Director, Minorities Welfare, duly relieving Tafseer Iqubal from the said post, until further orders.
