Jaipur, July 15: The Arco Group of Industries and Social Services, in collaboration with the Provincial Muslim Teli Maha Panchayat, organized an event to celebrate the achievements of talented Muslim students at a private hotel here Sunday. Over 120 meritorious students from across the state were recognized by the president of the Maha Panchayat, Abdul Latif Arco, who awarded them with cash prizes, certificates, medals, and badges.
For the past 23 years, the Arco Group has been honoring outstanding students, and this year, female students once again led the way.
In his address, MLA and Haj Committee Chairman Ameen Kagzi praised the growing educational awareness within the Muslim community, highlighting the progress made by girls. MLA and Minority Commission Chairman Rafiq Khan urged students to take full advantage of government scholarships.
Congress Leader Archana Sharma encouraged the girls to contribute to the upliftment of the Muslim society and to strive for excellence in all fields. Former Minister and Patron of the Maha Panchayat, Ashraf Ali Khilji, called on the community to recognize talented students in every district to spark an educational revolution.
Other notable speakers included Pandit Naval Kishore Sharma, Shaukat Qureshi, Rajaram Meel, Abdul Ghaffar Khan, Ashwani Pathija, and Sabiha, who shared their insights during the program.
The event also highlighted the various initiatives by the Arco Group, including mass marriage conferences, career counseling, free English-speaking courses, and coaching for competitive exams like RAS, ASI, and PSI at nominal charges, as detailed by Sandeep Sharma and Dheeraj Rathore.
Top performers in the 10th grade merit list included Rida Jahan (97%), Ilma Bano (96.83%), and Sania Bano (96.67%). For the 12th grade, Ilma Gauri (96.20%), Hureen (95.80%), and Farhan Ali (95%) secured the top three positions.
Distinguished intellectuals such as Advocate Minhajuddin, Abuzar Mansoori, Maulvi Insaf, Akbar Ali, Abullas Mansoori, Councilor Rais Mansoori, Syed Asghar Ali, Irfan Khan, Arif Khan, Abuzaid, Muhammad Tariq, and Gulabuddin were also honored with badges. The event was anchored by Shakil Urrahman.
