Technical and Moral Orientation of Degree Students Held at Mangaluru

Mangaluru: The orientation program for the first-year students of Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT), Bearys Enviro-Architecture Design School (BEADS), and Bearys Institute of Emerging Sciences (BIES) was held at the Bearys Knowledge Campus on Wednesday, reports Vartha Bharati.

Addressing the students, Umar Teekay, MD of the Teekays Group, Bengaluru, and honorary president of MEIF, emphasized that the ultimate goal of every human being, whether consciously or unconsciously, is happiness, which he stated can only be attained through achievements. He highlighted that there is no achievement without action and distinguished success from achievement, explaining that success is merely the recognition of one’s accomplishments.

Ibrahim Sharief, CEO of TruGlobal Inc, USA, spoke to the students about the benefits of pursuing a corporate career, emphasizing that it offers financial stability, career growth, work-life balance, skill development, and opportunities to travel around the world. He further explained that the key to corporate success lies in hard work, education, specialization, effective communication, and applying for the right jobs.

Addressing the students, Syed Mohamed Beary, Chairman of Bearys Academy of Learning, stressed the importance of character building. He remarked that while academic success is vital, it holds no true value without a strong moral foundation.

“Your achievements will mean nothing if they are not backed by a good character,” he said, urging students to focus on integrity and ethics alongside their studies.

He further advised students that their time at the Bearys Education institutions would be among the most crucial years of their lives, as the experiences and education they acquire would shape their future. He urged them to make the most of their time and avoid any activities that could bring dishonor to their community, the institution, or the country.
