Telangana, AP CMs Greet Muslims on Ramadan Beginning

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu greeted Muslims on the begging of Ramadan.

In his greeting message, Revanth Reddy said Ramadan spreads the message of serving humanity. He said that fasting and prayers offered by Muslims during Ramadan reinforce spirituality and discipline.

He also said the Telangana state is a role model for the country in preserving secularism and religious harmony. “The People’s Government is already working tirelessly for the upliftment of Muslim minorities,” he said, assuring that the programmes meant for the development of the Muslim community will be implemented strictly.

Reddy wished Muslim brothers and sisters to celebrate Ramadan cheerfully and receive the blessings of Almighty Allah.

Greeting Muslim brothers and sisters on the occasion of Ramadan beginning, Chandrababu Naidu wished that their prayers with the month-long fasting will be fruitful. “May good things come to everyone with the grace of Allah,” Naidu said in his greetings posted on ‘X’.

Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer also greeted Muslims. “I convey my warm wishes to all Muslim brethren of Andhra Pradesh on the blessed start of the holy month of Ramadan. May this holy month bring peace, prosperity, and spiritual fulfilment to you and your families,” he said.

“May your prayers, fasting, and acts of kindness be accepted, and may Allah’s mercy, compassion, and blessings be with you throughout this sacred time,” he added.

On the auspicious occasion of the beginning of Ramadan, former chief Minister and YSR Congress Party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy extended warm wishes to all Muslim brethren.

He said that those undertaking the fast receive abundant blessings from Allah. This holy month is a time of reflection, prayer, and community for Muslims worldwide, and these greetings underscore a message of unity and goodwill.
