Telangana CM assures help to Muslim boy suffering from cancer

Hyderabad, July 1: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has assured required assistance to the family of a Muslim boy from Warangal who is suffering from cancer.

During the Chief Minister’s visit to Warangal town on June 29, Mohammed Adil Ahmed was spotted with a placard that read ‘CM Sir Please Help’.

However, the Chief Minister could not meet the boy. On learning about the boy through the media, Revanth Reddy showed his generosity. The Chief Minister directed the officials in Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) to provide immediate medical assistance to the cancer patient.

On the CM’s instructions, CM’s OSD (Officer on Special Duty) Vemula Srinivasulu spoke to the boy’s family over the phone.

According to CMO, a LOC (Letter of Credit) of Rs one lakh was already granted for Adil Ahmed’s treatment in BasavaTarakam Cancer Hospital in Hyderabad a month ago.

Srinivasulu enquired about Adil Ahmed’s health condition and assured the poor family members that the required assistance will be provided under Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF).
