Telangana CM Unveils AIMPLB President’s Book ‘Prophet for the World’

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Sunday released the book ‘Prophet for the World’ by renowned Islamic scholar Moulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, president of All India Muslim Personal Law Board.

This is the English translation of Moulana Rahmani’s book originally written in Urdu. The book has already been translated into Arabic. It was also translated into Hindi and published from Indore while the Bangla translation was published in Bangladesh. The book has also been translated into Malayalam, Telugu and French.

Moulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani has written one dozen books on the holy life of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. He is the founder and director of Al-Mahadul Aali Al Islami, an institute for research and specialization in Islamic Sciences. Moulana’s books are used as textbooks in Islamic institutes in various countries.

AIMIM president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi, former minister and Telangana government advisor Mohammed Ali Shabbir, and Telangana Minority Residential Educational Institutions Society chairman Faheemuddin Qureshi attended the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Revanth Reddy said he was very much delighted over getting an opportunity to unveil such a wonderful book. He noted that the Bhagavad Gita, Quran, and Bible preaches only peace in the world. The sacred scriptures of all religions spread the message of development of the countries together. He said that it is a matter of pride that the AIMPLB President is hailed from this region.

Revanth Reddy said he and Asaduddin Owaisi served as MPs in Hyderabad. “Asaduddin Owaisi criticizes the Congress government sometimes.  A good opposition helps the government to work efficiently,” he said.

The Chief Minister lamented that the number of leaders speaking on behalf of the poor in Parliament has come down. He said that Asaduddin Owaisi is one of the few leaders who raised the voice for the people.

Stating that people of Telangana are making their mark in corporate and business sectors, he said politics should be confined only during the elections. “Let us all work together for the welfare and development of four crore people in the Telangana State. My government has been receiving good suggestions from the Majlis party,” he said.

Pointing out that the Musi River has been turned into a dump yard for many years, Revanth Reddy said his government was seeking the support of Majlis for the Musi Riverfront Development project.

He gave the assurance that double-bedroom houses will be provided to all the poor. It is the responsibility of everyone to protect the country. We all need to move forward on the right path, he said.

Recalling that people gave a mandate to Chandrababu Naidu, YS Rajasekhar Reddy, and K Chandrasekhar Rao governments for two terms, he hoped that people will also elect Congress government for a second consecutive time. He asserted that his government would be dedicated to the welfare of the poor in the 10-year period.
