Tensions Rise in Hyderabad as Swords Brandished and Provocative Slogans Chanted Outside Mosque

Hyderabad – A tense situation unfolded in Nacharam Mallapur, Hyderabad, on Wednesday night when a group of individuals participating in a procession waved swords and raised provocative slogans in front of Masjid-e-Aashraf, located in Chankyapuri Colony within the Nacharam police station limits.
A video circulating on social media depicts approximately 10 to 12 people, two of whom were carrying swords, holding saffron flags and chanting slogans in front of the mosque. The group was reportedly returning from a Chhatrapati Shivaji Jayanti procession when they stopped near the mosque, where worshippers were engaged in prayers.
Eyewitnesses allege that the act was a deliberate attempt to incite communal tensions in the city. Some individuals captured the incident on video and shared it on social media, urging the police to take action against those involved. The footage quickly gained traction online, drawing concerns over the potential for unrest. Many social media users condemned the act and called for immediate intervention by law enforcement authorities to prevent further escalation.
Local residents expressed fear and frustration over the incident, emphasizing the need for strict measures to curb such provocative acts. Authorities have been urged to identify the individuals responsible and take legal action to maintain peace in the area. As the video continues to spread, police officials are expected to launch an investigation and ensure that communal harmony is preserved.
