The Quran often refers to the heart in metaphorical and spiritual contexts, inviting believers to delve beyond the superficial and embrace the profound truth it embodies. One such verse is found in Surah Al-Anfal (8:24), where Allah says, “O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. And know that Allah intervenes between a man and his heart and that to Him you will be gathered.” This verse underscores the intimate connection between Allah, His Messenger, and the human heart, portraying it as the locus of spiritual awakening and divine guidance.
Similarly, in Surah Al-Hajj (22:46), Allah addresses the state of the hearts, saying, “So have they not traveled through the earth and have hearts by which to reason and ears by which to hear?
