The Indian Public School Wins Top Honors at MEAM 2.0 Young Citizen of India Competition

Jaipur: The Indian Public School emerged as the Best School at the Minority Empowerment and Awareness Mission (MEAM) Season 2 Young Citizen of India competition, held at the Constitution Club of Rajasthan Auditorium. The event celebrated the growing educational engagement of the Muslim community and highlighted young talent from Jaipur and Tonk.

Eleven schools participated in the inter-school quiz and speech competitions. Students impressed the judges with their preparation and confidence. The judging panel included Dr. Raheem Khan, Dr. Rehana Advocate, Jamila Khan, and Dr. Firdaus Qureshi. Selecting the winners was challenging due to the close competition among participants.

In the speech competition, Bright Career School secured the first position, followed by Good Luck and Bright Flower. Raj Public School (RPS) topped the quiz segment, while Tonk Public School and Zaituna Momin’s team finished second and third. The Indian Public School received the overall Best School Award for its strong performance in both categories.

Supreme Court lawyer Hamnasheen Ahmad, addressing the gathering, shared encouraging data showing that educational participation within the minority community has reached 79.5% in 2023-24. She called for continued community focus on quality education and equal opportunities.

The event’s Chief Guest, Bashiran Begum, presented the inaugural Lifetime HM Suleman Achievement Award to Reshma Khan, Director of All India Radio (Akashvani). Dignitaries including Waqf Board Chairman Khanu Khan Budhwali, AL Paper Director Javed Khan Kagzi, Oswal Soap Group’s Achal Jain, CKS Hospital CEO Dr. Sharif Khan, and senior journalists Sanjay Sharma and Imran Khan attended the event and offered career guidance to the students.

MEAM Manager Sara Ismail announced the successful conclusion of the second season, stating that the competition is entirely free and aims to inspire students to plan their future, develop leadership skills, and build confidence. Over 250 students took part in the program, which was anchored by Akashvani RJ Dr. Zeba Zeenat.

Winning students were felicitated with mementos and certificates. The event reflected a growing momentum within the Muslim community toward educational progress and empowerment through learning.
